Sometimes your story is a way to communicate your ‘why’ and sometimes your story is a family saga. Either way, a narrative will communicate what mere words on a page fail to do.

Message from the Dean
A family wanted a memoir. I interviewed several members (unofficial historians) of the family to gather information. What began forming seemed best told in a narrative, rather than prosaic form. It became a story. (Only the dialog is imagined – the rest, as they say, is actual history.)

Whether it’s a celebrity or employee profile, you want to pull out information that’ interesting to the reader and supportive of the overall brand (in this case, the magazine issue was a feature on marriage).
